And here we thought skinny jeans were just for fashion!
Architect German Sent was walking home from a subway station in New York City earlier this month when things got real really quick.
In an interview with the New York Post, the 27-year-old alleged that three strangers approached him out of nowhere and threw him to the ground in hopes of stealing a new iPhone 6 and wallet.
Luckily, Sent's black Kenneth Cole skinny jeans were so tight that the criminals couldn't exactly obtain the goods.
"They couldn't even get a finger in my pocket," he told The Post. "They were just arguing amongst themselves…like, ‘Get into his front pocket! Get into his left pocket!' And the other would say, ‘I can't get it! I can't!'"
You messed with the wrong guy pant pockets, muggers.
Ultimately, the trio ran off without any personal belongings. The experience, however, proved to be quite frightening for the innocent hipster.
"I'm glad I put these jeans on today, because they're really saving all my stuff right now," he said. "It was kind of hilarious and scary at the same time."
