Beyoncé and Jay Z's Awkward PDA Is Giving Us Flashbacks to Our 7th Grade Dance

Well this is awkward.

Vacations for the Carter family mean sun, fun and plenty of photos—but what we don't normally see from Beyoncé and Jay Z is PDA…until now.

Music's power couple was spotted kissing and hugging one another during a break from boat rides and lavish meals in Italy surrounded by their close friends and family.

And while the scenery couldn't have been more romantic, it seemed like things were less than natural between the famous twosome.

Maybe they stumbled on some bad lighting? Maybe Bey wasn't feeling her outfit at the moment? (Side note: We love it, no shade here.) Or maybe it was just the fact that they totally knew there were photographers standing within feet from them?

Regardless of what really went down, the kisses and hugs between the "XO" singer and her rapper hubby were more like what our 7th grade dances looked like than anything else.

But enough poking fun at what was probably a genuinely lovey dovey moment between the two, let's let them live, right?
