When Caitlyn Jenner gave her first talk show interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she admitted she "was not for" gay marriage in the past.

The self-proclaimed "traditionalist" clarified that her views had changed, and she'd "never want to stand in front of anybody's happiness," but Ellen DeGeneres wasn't completely convinced.

Afterwards, during an interview with The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM, Ellen reflected on Caitlyn's comments. "She still has a judgment about gay marriage," lamented the talk show host, who has been married to Portia de Rossi since 2008. "I said, 'you're wanting people to understand and accept you...and you still have a judgment about gay people and marriage...'"

Ellen explained that while she doesn't necessarily understand Caitlyn's experiences as a transgender woman, she still "want(s) her to be happy" and embraces the I Am Cait star's lifestyle even though it's different than her own.

Speaking of Ellen's personal life, things are "fantastic" between her and Portia. You might've seen headlines claiming their marriage is in trouble, but as Ellen joked to Howard, she and Portia are "kind of flattered" by that nonsense!

"Because for a while we thought nobody cared about us," she said. "And we thought, oh, lesbians aren't worthy of tabloid stories, so now we're kind of flattered that they even care about us."

In actuality, Ellen told Howard, she and Portia aren't on the verge of breaking up—they don't even fight! "We are madly in love," she gushed, "and I guess it's boring."
