The Good Wife is back with a brand-new attitude for season seven.

After losing her beloved Will Gardner, starting and losing her own firm, winning and losing the State's Attorney election and having one last drink with her former BFF Kalinda Sharmer before the investigator skipped town, Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) has nothing left to lose.

"For the first time in my life, I don't have to answer to anyone," Alicia says in the exclusive The Good Wife season seven trailer above. She's hit bottom, so where does she go from here? No place but up, right?!

Now Alicia is on her own and making deals with "the devil" (Michael J. Fox's Louis Canning), while preparing to be thrust into the spotlight once again as Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) begins another bid for a very public office: President of the United States. But he's not interested in being president; he wants to be vice president. To get him there, Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) is bringing in guest star Margo Martindale as Ruth Eastman. Plus, Eli's drinking smoothies?!

Not featured in the trailer: New cast additions Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Cush Jumbo. The premiere will feature Alicia meeting Jumbo's Lucca Quinn, another attorney competing with Alicia for clients. Other guest stars in the premiere include Jane Curtin, Christopher McDonald, Bridget Regan and Mo Rocca.
