Caitlyn Jenner is getting candid.

The 65-year-old E! star stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show for her first talk show interview, which will kick off the series' season 13 on Tuesday.

Looking gorgeous in a black knee-length skirt, a white blouse and bright red nails, the former Olympian flashed a beaming smile and told Ellen DeGeneres that she feels "fabulous" before opening up about her famous family, marriage and her personal journey to self-acceptance.

DeGeneres brought up the fact that Jenner has previously identified herself as a conservative republican. "It's not a bad thing, the only thing is, a lot of republicans...would vote against all the issues that you as a woman and you as a transperson would want to support," the talk show host said.

"I agree with that in some cases," she replied, nodding her head before touching on the topic of same-sex marriage and sharing her rather surprising thoughts.

"Gay marriage. I have to admit that I remember 15 years ago, 20 years ago whenever it was the whole gay marriage issue came up at first, I was not for it," she confessed. "I mean I thought am a traditionalist I mean I'm older than most people in the audience. I mean I like tradition and it's always been between a man and a woman and I'm thinking I don't quite get it. But as time goes on, like a lot of people on this issue I've really changed thinking here, to I don't ever want to stand in front of anybody's happiness. That's not my job. Ok. If that word marriage is really, really that important to you I can go with it.

"It's funny because you're still a little not on board with it," Ellen replied.

"No, I'm on board," Caitlyn insisted. "It's going to be pretty much the law of the land. So I still feel like yea, I'm ok with it. I don't want to stand in front of somebodies happiness."

Later in the interview, Jenner touches on the topic of dating in the transcommunity, which she says is a "a tremendous issue in the trans community. It's a very big issue."

"Everybody wants to have a partner everybody would love to have a family...I've kind of passed that stage in my life," she said after joking that she has "too many kids." "But yes would I like to find a partner in life to share my life with...Right now I'm just very busy doing a lot of things and kind of just getting used to where I'm at and who I'm at. As time goes on I'll deal with that subject."

As for whether Caitlyn misses Bruce?

"Absolutely, no. Because as a woman I can do all this fun stuff anyway. I can still play golf. I can still go race cars."

Ellen then asked if she hits "the ball from the women's tee or the men's tee?" to which Caitlyn quipped "Don't go there!" before admitting, "Actually, no, I still play from the men's tees."
