Wedding bells are ringing!
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star David Parnes is engaged to Adrian Abnosi, E! News can exclusively report. David and Adrian met less than two years ago at Cecconi's in West Hollywood, where the Bravo star found himself unable to keep his eyes off of her. The rest, they say, is history.
"Adrian is everything to me," David tells us. "I know it may sound cliché, but I'm lucky to have found my soul mate, and I hope that I can be the husband she deserves. I made a promise to her father that I will look after her and be there forever, and I want her family to know how much she means to me."
Adrian adds, "I met David just weeks after I lost my mother to cancer, and the amount of light and love he has brought into my life is truly unbelievable."
David proposed in Capri, Italy, as it's their "favorite place," he says. "The energy and the scenery, the restaurants, the sea—it's all so beautiful. I wanted to have the peace of mind that I made it as memorable as I could...I was only getting one shot!"
The real estate broker and reality TV star had a boat pick them up from a pier in the late afternoon that took them on a cruise around the island for a few hours. "We were able to relax and unwind, joke and laugh and just be together within the most breathtaking setting," he adds.
After their private cruise, David had a vintage Italian convertible taxi drive them to the lighthouse at the top of the island. The driver suggested they walk up a secluded pathway, which had a sign with their names on it. Upon reaching the top of the trail, Adrian discovered a gorgeous terrace that had been decorated with white and pink roses—her favorite—champagne and chocolates. David had hired a photographer to snap a photo of the moment he got down on one knee while the sun was setting.
How romantic!
After Adrian said "yes!" she was able to slip on a Lorraine Schwartz-designed engagement ring onto that finger. After working closely with the jewelry designer "every step of the way," David ended up with a 4-carat, cushion-cut stone. The massive diamond sits on a simple white gold and diamond setting.
Everyone is thrilled with the news, including David's childhood friend and business partner, James Harris. "Dave has been my best friend for life, and I couldn't be happier for him and Adrian," Harris tells E! News.
"This is incredible news. I knew it was coming, and I couldn't be more excited for them!"
And it looks like the newly engaged couple has gotten a jump-start on being a family, as they are already parents to five dogs!
