Ever wonder if you have a doppelganger out there? One of the latest online fads will allow you to meet the long-lost "twin" you never knew you had.
The website Twinstrangers.net, has people uploading their photos and searching for strangers who are unrelated to them and who look just like them. Some pretty impressive matches have already been made.
In a video posted on the site's YouTube page this week, look-alikes Ambra, a 23-year-old woman from North Carolina, and Jennifer, a 33-year-old woman from Texas, meet for the first time and get "twin" makeovers.
"Yes, of course I'm nervous," Jennifer says.
"I was fine right up until I got to the elevator to come down and see her and then suddenly I was all nervous and my hands were shaking and I was like, 'Oh my Lord, I'm actually going to meet her,'" Ambra says. "When I finally met her, it was like, 'Oh my goodness. There's another person. She really does have my face.'"
Ambra also introduced Jennifer to her mother, who was astonished at the similarities between the two.
"You're my daughter," she told her.
Niamh and Karen are another pair of doppelgangers who found each other via the website. Niamh helped the Twinstrangers.net team organize Ambra and Jennifer's meeting.
