To say that these two crushed the opening ceremony's red carpet is by no means an exaggeration. But of course the blond duo set the style bar exceedingly high for the rest of the festival goers—it's just what these fashionistas do.
Truthfully, Diane-do-no-wrong is almost incapable of stepping out in anything short of jaw-dropping. And today, she lived up to her stylish reputation once more with this intricately beaded pearl-white Prada gown. Take a closer look, and you'll see that the design is embroidered head-to-toe in crystal embellishments, accentuating the high-necked silhouette and tasteful side cutouts. It's the back of the gown—a dramatic cape encrusted with even more beaded detail—that really sets this gown apart from the pack as iconic.
Not to downplay Elizabeth's own red carpet triumph, the actress instantly turned heads in a crisp white Dolce & Gabbana number. From the front, the belted confection reveals masterful beaded detailing. But the back—whew! The 41-year-old shared a snapshot of the gown from behind on Instagram, revealing just how exquisite the open design and jeweled adornments really look up-close.
