No Jokes Here: Gary Busey is Joining Dancing with the Stars

Busey joins an ever-growing list of celebs for season 21 of the ABC hit, which debuts September 14

Please welcome to the dance floor...Gary Busey?

This might be the strangest Dancing with the Stars announcement yet, but if Jimmy Kimmel is to be believed, Busey will be lacing up his dancing shoes for season 21. 

Kimmel brought Busey out on a white horse wearing a horse-sized red sparkly dance costume, and asked the actor why he decided to join the show this season. 

"I didn't have anything else to do," he joked (or maybe not). He then pleaded with the audience to pick up their telephones and vote for him each week. 

This will not be Busey's first foray into reality TV competitions. He has appeared on Celebrity Apprentice twice, and won season 14 of Celebrity Big Brother. 

He can also at least kind of do some kind of dancing, according to this gif: 

Busey joins an already lengthy list of stars lined up for season 21, officially including Bindi Irwin, Andy Grammer, Nick Carter, Chaka Khan, Hayes Grier, Carlos PenaVega, Alexa PenaVega, and Victor Espinoza. Kim Zolciak and Paula Deen will also reportedly be dancing this season. 

The entire cast and their professional partners will be officially announced tomorrow on Good Morning America, and season 21 of Dancing with the Stars debuts Monday, September 14 on ABC. 

We can already tell this is going to be a very interesting season...
