Much has been said about Josh Duggar following the 27-year-old 19 Kids and Counting star's confession that he cheated on wife Anna and suffered from a secret porn addiction, but the famous family has stayed relatively mum.

Sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar, who previously defended their brother after they were revealed as two of the victims in his sexual abuse case, have now indirectly spoken out about their brother's behavior, less than two weeks after Josh's shocking admission (the cheating one, that is).

Jessa, who is expecting her first child with husband Ben Seewald, took to her Facebook page to share a video of a sermon from Pastor John Piper titled "The Passions That Prevent Adultery."

Citing the website DesiringGod.org, Jessa, who previously Instagrammed a cryptic bible verse eight days after Josh's cheating admission, posted the following message alongside the video clip:

"In three minutes, John Piper explains how God cures our heart's broken desires for sin. When the Bible calls us to live like Christ, it doesn't merely give us a set of commands. It presents us with something compelling and captivating that changes our minds, and then our hearts. The gospel convinces us of something irresistibly true, and then transforms our desires for something new. That conviction and passion keeps us out of bed with someone who's not our spouse and rejects a thousand other temptations."

Jill, meanwhile, broke her own social media silence after her brother's second confession in a blog post on Monday

The 24-year-old reality star gave an update on her and husband Derick Dillard's Christian mission and made no mention of the scandal with the exception of the following: "August has been a busy month for us and as so many of you know it has ended on a sad note for my extended family," she wrote. "Please do pray for our family. We are so thankful for God's grace during difficult days."

Meanwhile, the Duggar family announced last week that Josh had checked himself into a "long-term treatment" center in the wake of the drama.

Jessa and Jill also appeared in the TLC documentary Breaking the Silence, which premiered Sunday, in which the two vowed to bring awareness to child sexual abuse. The special aired after TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting after the married father of four admitted to molesting five minors, including two of his younger sisters, back when he was a teenager.
