Are you a bit confused over what happened between Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus at the 2015 Video Music Awards on Sunday? Well, worry not! Jimmy Kimmel is here to save the day.
The late-night host helped simplify the feud using a language we can all comprehend: emojis.
He started it off by explaining how Cyrus gave an interview to the New York Times in which she said Minaj was "not too kind" and "not very polite."
"So when Nicki Minaj accepted her VMA for best hip-hop video for 'Anaconda,'" Kimmel says, "she ended her speech by insulting Miley Cyrus."
"And Nicki said, as you heard, 'This bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press,'" he continues. "And then the camera cut to Miley who looked shocked and upset, and then the camera cut back to Nicki who mouthed the words, 'Don't play with me bitch.' And then Kanye announced that he was running for president. And then the world ended. So anyone have any questions about that?"

In case you missed it, the intense moment—which was not at all staged—stemmed from a few comments Cyrus made about Minaj regarding her feud with Taylor Swift. The 22-year-old singer said she didn't follow the fight because she believed the rapper attacked Swift out of "anger."
"And it's not anger like, 'Guys, I'm frustrated about some things that are a bigger issue.' You made it about you," Miley explained. "Not to sound like a bitch, but that's like, 'Eh, I didn't get my VMA'...If you want to make it about race, there's a way you could do that. But don't make it just about yourself. Say: 'This is the reason why I think it's important to be nominated. There's girls everywhere with this body type.'"
She continued, "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It's not very polite."
When Minaj then used her VMA acceptance speech to hit back at Cyrus, the "Wrecking Ball" singer kept her cool on-camera, saying, "We all do interviews. We all know how they manipulate s--t. Congratuf--kinglations, Nicki."
However, behind-the-scenes, sources tell E! News Cyrus was "pissed," adding that she "stormed backstage cursing and yelling about it as she headed toward her dressing room."
Minaj, on the other hand, took to Twitter to laugh off the moment, writing, "Lmfaooooooooooooo" with a couple heart-eye emojis.
