For some Hollywood stars, sharing pictures of their kids on social media or red carpets is a weekly routine. But for Julia Roberts and Danny Moder, privacy for their three children is much more their style.
So it was a pleasant surprise to see the A-list couple step out Saturday night with their kids for a special family night out.
While supporting Kelly Slater and the success of Outerknown, Roberts and Moder posed for pictures with their eight-year-old son, Henry, and 10-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel.
And while relaxing in a private Malibu, Calif., home, the family of five was all smiles as they enjoyed the professional surfer's sustainable fashion line. The brand helps to explore the relationship between function, style and sustainability.
While you may not see her children in magazines every week, Roberts always speaks proudly of her youngest family members.
In a 2014 interview with the Wall Street Journal, the Oscar winner discussed how family life takes priority over movie projects.
"By the time we had kids, I had accomplished things and felt secure about that part of my life," she explained. "I was so joyful moving into the family phase of my life in a sincere way."
And as her kids continue to grow up, Roberts hopes she can raise individuals who can speak out for what is right.
"I have three little kids that I hope grow up to be just as inspired to speak out in what they believe in and what their friends believe in," she shared when attending GLSEN's Respect Awards.
