The Duggar family has been going through some tough times lately, but today is a celebration.

The 19 Kids & Counting stars took to their Facebook page to wish their son and brother Josiah Duggar a happy 19th birthday.

Posting a throwback photo and a current pic of their growing boy, the family wrote, "Today is our Josiah's birthday. Josiah is creative and a hard worker. We are especially pleased with the wonderful young man he's become. Happy, happy birthday, Josiah!"

But that wasn't enough. Matriarch Michelle Duggar hit the social media platform once again to write another loving message for her son:

Michelle here--I've thought all day about our Josiah and wanted to add a few thoughts to the family post we put up for his birthday this morning!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSIAH!
We love you so much!
You are an encourager and can brighten up any room you walk into!
You have made a big impact in all of our lives.
Your love for God, humility, diligence, selflessness, giving spirit, and so much more has challenged us in our relationship with the Lord!
We are so blessed to have you in our family!
Love,
Mom (dad and family agree too!)

Unfortunately, Josiah's special day comes during a difficult time for the reality stars.

According to the Duggar family, Josh Duggar checked into a long-term treatment center earlier this week. The Duggars released another statement on their website regarding their eldest son following his confession to cheating on wife Anna Duggar and having a pornography addiction after being revealed as an Ashley Madison user.

"We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, care and prayers for our family during this most difficult situation with Josh. As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others," Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar's statement reads.

"He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear. Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change."
