Ben Affleck Steps Out in Los Angeles Without His Wedding Ring—See the Pic

Pair have been wearing them on and off since announcing their divorce

Ben Affleck has removed an important piece of jewelry.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star was spotted without his wedding ring while heading to a studio in Los Angeles Wednesday. Ben looked relaxed and casual in his blue polo, clearly fueling up for the day with his iced coffee.  

He and ex Jennifer Garner have been seen wearing their rings for the most part, in an effort to help their kids adjust to the changes in their relationship, a source told People. 

Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, are  "are a big part of why they're still wearing [the rings]," a source told the magazine. "They just want them to be OK."

Ben and Jen have been keeping the focus on their family, especially when it came to celebrating Ben's birthday. The family took a trip to Florida to visit Universal Orlando Resort and Disney World. "Ben just wanted to spend his birthday weekend with his family," a source revealed to E! News at the time. "And that's what he did."

No one can resist the magical powers of Magic Kingdom, not even Ben and Jen, who an eyewitness said were having a great time as a group of five. "They looked like they were having a great day together," an eyewitness told E! News exclusively. The estranged couple were "smiling and the kids looked very happy and adorable, too."

Even though the pair announced plans to divorce in late June, they've been trying to co-parent their children. Because Jen has been busy filming a movie in Atlanta, Ben has often flown to visit her and the kids. They've even taken a trip to the Bahamas as a family unit. 

"Ben and Jen are making the best of the situation," a source shared with us. "They are just trying to get through the separation and have put on really brave faces."
