Araya Diaz/Getty Images for Stella & DotJulianne Hough has been keeping a fairly low profile since her beau Brooks Laich popped the big question last week, but during her first public appearance she seemed to be hiding one very new and sparkly accessory: her engagement ring!
The professional dancer looked as happy as can be at the Keep Collective Accessories Social to benefit the Kind Campaign on Tuesday in Los Angeles, and was dressed in a pair of super-short jean shorts, a white blouse and wedges.
And while her ear-to-ear grin spoke way louder than words, it's clear that the future Mrs. Laich is over the moon.
During a recent blog post on her website, the blond beauty opened up about the day that her fiancé asked her to marry him.
"What a week it's been! I'm just so happy and feeling so loved from all of you, and wanted to give you a quick update on everything. I can't wait to share our wedding planning adventures with you over the next few months—you guys always give the best advice!" she wrote.
She also mentioned that she would be taking a "slight social media time out" to enjoy her engagement with Laich and her loved ones, and ended her post with one final message to her adoring fans.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and well wishes surrounding my engagement! This is certainly one of the most exciting times in my life and I am so happy to share it with you all!"
