The One Direction band member is thinking about starting a career in acting, a source tells E! News exclusively. "Harry is being offered acting stuff, but he hasn't accepted anything yet," the source says.
"He is not openly looking for stuff either but is open to offers."
But the British heartthrob isn't going to accept just anything that comes his way just because it's offered. Harry is looking to appear on the silver screen only if it's a part that feels right. "If he does expand into that field," the source adds, "he wants to make sure it is the right role."
All of this talk of career change is certainly going to make Directioners freak out. What if this break really is a breakup?! The band is set to go on hiatus in March, which leaves plenty of time for fans to panic, despite reassurances that they will come back together.
"They are taking a hiatus so they can work on individual projects for a while but they are not splitting up," a source told E! News. "They will remain together and plan to work together in the future."
Niall Horan and the other members of 1D have promised more new music is on its way and said their tour would continue without a hitch, it's a tough pill to swallow since Zayn Malik officially left the group. Never forget how he, too, said he was going on "hiatus" before ultimately giving his official two weeks notice.
Even though our source insisted that the singers "envision a future together but with the freedom to do other things as well," only time will truly tell what's to come of our favorite "Drag Me Down" men. We might bawl our eyes out if they disband for good, but we'll also be the first ones in line to see Harry on the big screen should that happen.
