Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas honored Nicki Minaj earlier this summer with a wax figure of her very own. The "Anaconda"-inspired statue, which featured Minaj in a provocative pose on all fours, took about six months to make and required hundreds of "precise" body measurements. Although Minaj couldn't be at the unveiling, she took to Instagram to commemorate her big day.
But there was one person who didn't care for the wax museum's design: Azealia Banks. Upon seeing Minaj's wax figure, the rapper turned to Twitter to express her disgust with how Madame Tussauds decided to position the "Starships" performer.
"As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours... Why not standing up with a mic in her hand ???," she tweeted last week.
Which, it seems, is Madame Tussaud's go-to move when it comes to designing statutes for singers. Although Minaj didn't seem to have a problem with the design, Banks continued to express her disgust for it. "I would complain and ask for a do-over. That's such underhanded shade," she added.
Banks even went on to make a prediction about the statue, saying people defile it by taking obscene pictures with waxy Minaj. "All ppl are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt," she wrote.
As it turns out, she was right.
Pictures of people posing in sexually explicit ways with the statue have surfaced on social media, proving Banks was right about the work of art. Minaj laughed off a picture on Instagram that showed women grabbing the figure's boobs and her butt.
Another guy decided to become intimate with the figure, sharing a picture of himself about to lick Minaj's face. But then one man took Banks' prediction literally and snapped a photo of himself putting his "crotch on her butt." He also grabbed her ponytail and had a tight grip on her waist.
Banks has been on top of the social media buzz, so she took to Twitter once again to call out how right she really was from the get-go. "I have some sort of feral, triple-intuitiveness that makes me know things as soon as I seen them," she tweeted Tuesday.
