Talk about a blast from the past!
The Unauthorized Full House Story is set to air Saturday on Lifetime and it's safe to say the highly anticipated TV movie is covering everything: The hair, the clothes, the almost-firings, and—most importantly—the relationships.
In E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the movie, John Stamos (Justin Gaston) meets Rebecca Romijn (Ashley Diana Morris), whom he married in 1998 and divorced in 2005, for the very first time. And yes, it was definitely love at first awkward encounter for the gorgeous ex-couple.
Fun fact: Did you know they meet backstage at a fashion show, where Stamos almost ripped Romijn's dress? well, now you do...and you can see it go down by pressing play on the exclusive video above.
Stamos recently told E! News he has a "sense of humor" about the upcoming tell-all movie, and even confirmed that they definitely got one thing right: He did try and have Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen fired! "Yeah, I did," he said. "I was a thespian. I was coming off General Hospital, I was a real actor. I had to pull off these scenes and these kids were crying!"
And while he called Gaston, his portrayer in the movie, "pretty dreamy," Stamos had no affection for his old Full House hair. "It was like two crows had died on my head!" he joked. "The sideburns were big!"
Bad hair aside, Stamos admitted, "I can't wait for that movie. Is that bad to say?!"
Nope, 'cause we're staying in just to watch it, so join we'll make room on that couch for you, Stamos.
