Which mother knows best?

Ready to feel old? Full House's DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) is a mom! When viewers catch up with the eldest Tanner sister on Fuller House, Netflix's 2016 revival of the beloved '90s sitcom, DJ will be calling on sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and BFF Kimmy (Andrea Barber) for help raising her children after the death of her husband.

And when we chatted with Candace Cameron Bure while she was promoting her new book, Dancing Through Life: Steps of Courage and Conviction, we had to know how DJ's parenting skills compare to her own as mom to her three children with husband Valeri Bure

"I would say DJ and I have pretty similar parenting skills," Bure told E! News. "I think the difference is because she doesn't have a husband, she has to take on both roles. So she's probably even stronger than I am. But I'm a pretty tough, strict mom!"

And while Bure couldn't reveal the actors who will be playing her on-screen offspring on Fuller House, which has already taped three episodes, she was quick to gush over how "adorable" they are.

"They are so good, they are so funny," Bure said. "Casting did a really, really good job. And they went on a very big wide search for these kids, and they came up with winners!"

To find out which character has changed the most since Full House went off the air, watch our interview with Candace Cameron Bure above now!

Full House will premiere on Netflix in 2016.
