Dmac/FAMEFLYNET PICTURES Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's former nanny, Christina Ouzounian, has acquired quite a large paparazzi following—so large that police have intervened.
The 28-year-old, whose past interactions with the actor have raised eyebrows amid the stars' recent divorce announcement, was seen driving her new Lexus in Southern California this week and was even escorted by cops on Wednesday after about 10 photographers were spotted outside of her Los Angeles home, E! News has learned.
A day later, dressed in a long-sleeve black top and blue distressed jeans shorts, paired with large pink teardrop hoop earrings and gold sandals, she was photographed walking with her phone in hand and also filling her tank at a gas station. She made no comment. Earlier this week, Ouzounian was spotted driving her new car in Beverly Hills and dining with friends at a restaurant outdoors.
Affleck, 42, and Garner, 42, parents to three children, had in June announced their plans to divorce and end their 10-year marriage following a split.
About a month later, Us Weekly quoted multiple sources as saying that while they were separated, they had hired Ouzounian as their nanny and that the actor "has been dating" her. The report also said Garner allegedly fired her after finding out. The actor's rep told the magazine, "all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue" and a source also told E! News that Affleck is not dating anyone.
"She is embarrassed," a source close to Garner told E! News exclusively about the actress. "And now it's out, it doesn't seem to be going away, it continues to get bigger...the whole situation is hurtful."
Garner and Ouzounian, who was photographed with Affleck weeks after the divorce announcement, have not commented.
Meanwhile, Garner, who is filming a movie in Atlanta, is not letting the issue get to her and is concentrating on work and the kids, the source added.
Earlier this week, E! News learned that the actress had fired Ouzounian after learning that she had joined Affleck and his friends on a trip to Las Vegas, days before their divorce announcement. Another source had told E! News there was nothing romantic about their brief getaway. A friend of Ouzounian had told E! News last month that Affleck and the former nanny's relationship was romantic and that Garner had terminated her after finding out the two had been intimate while in the Bahamas.
Another source had told E! News last week that Garner was "livid" over the scandal.
She and Affleck, who recently flew to Atlanta, were each spotted separately wearing their wedding rings this week, with the actor sporting his as recently as Friday.
