Sandra Lee is a fighter!

One day after announcing to her fans that she was going into the hospital as part of her ongoing battle with breast cancer, the celebrity chef revealed she is resting comfortably after a surgery that "went very well."

"We are happy to let you know that Sandra Lee is out of surgery. The operation took more than two hours, and Sandra is resting in post-op," her team wrote on Facebook Tuesday night. "Governor Cuomo remains with Sandra in the recovery room, as her anesthesia subsides."

During the evening, the Food Network star insisted that her husband and all of the nurses enjoy dinner and ice cream for dessert. But when it came to Lee's appetite, she had one simple request.

"Sandra lifted her head slightly and said ‘…Water WAS my negotiation…I'd really love a nice glass of rosé…'" her team wrote on Facebook. "…So, let's just say her celebratory self is right in place!"

The 49-year-old was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and underwent a double mastectomy in May. In July, Lee would be hospitalized for an infection after a surgery.

As of today, Lee and her family remain positive about the future. They also promise that updates will continue to come in for fans.

"She will return to her hospital room after post-op, and hopefully get some sleep," her post read. "We will let you know how things go overnight—and again, we thank you for your incredible support."
