Nothing is stronger than the bond of  two sisters—well, actually, maybe that of twin sisters.

Don't believe us? Just ask Dawn Ardolino-Policastro and Allison Ardolino Dinkelacker, twin sisters who have quite the story to tell Allison's baby boy when he gets older!

Six years ago, Allison was diagnosed with breast cancer and when the doctor delivered some devastating news her sweet twin sibling came to the rescue.

"Dawn accompanied me to one of my doctor's appointments and as we sat in my oncologist's office and he said to me if you survive this, you will never be able to carry another child," Allison revealed in a Facebook post shared by their photographer friend.

"Well before he even finished his sentence Dawn jumped in and said it doesn't matter because I am going to carry their child. You kept that promise through all the devastating highs and lows, but throughout it all, you have been constant in your optimism, support and loving care for us."

Dawn gave birth to Hudson William earlier this month but before that the two lovely ladies posed together to commemorate this amazing time in their lives.

For the photos, Allison wore a delicate white dress with lace detailing while a very pregnant and glowing Dawn sported a strapless maxi dress with a colorful design.

The best part? Dawn kept the baby's gender from Allison! This explains the cute snap of Dawn holding up a sign that reads 'Shhh...It's A Boy" with  Allison standing in front with her hands out and a puzzled look on her face.

In the same Facebook post, Allison went on to thank her sister for the precious gift that she gave her.

"I have said this before, but I have to say it again. Dawn, you amaze me! You are my hero and I have never been more proud of you. You deserve a medal of courage, of compassion, and of selflessness," Allison wrote.

"How can we begin to thank you for the tremendous generosity and sacrifice you have so willingly bestowed these last few months? You have given us not just the fulfillment of a wish we've had for the last six years, but a whole new life, and a family of 4 we thought we'd never have."

In another adorable pic from the photo sesh the sisters are standing next to each other but this time holding a sign that reads "My Bun"  and "Her Oven" with arrows pointing at the appropriate twin.

If you aren't already crying from this incredible tale, we suggest you go ahead and grab those tissues.

"We cannot thank you enough for the gift you have given us. Although biologically this child will be made up of the two of us, we certainly hope that the strength, selflessness, and power you have shown are traits that he takes from you during his life. Not many people have the ability to make someone else's dream come true. But you have done so, and with extraordinary thoughtfulness openness and sensitivity," Allison continued in her post.

"Dawn, we thank you for everything from the bottom of our hearts. We are and always will be eternally grateful!! What we are most grateful for is the gift you have given to Dylan the gift of being a big brother a dream that we all had and that you made come true!!!"
