Scream has taken yet another victim...and this time, it was in the most brutal way imaginable.

We knew it was coming. Ever since MTV's Ghostface killed Nina (Bella Thorne) in the series premiere, it was only a matter of time until he struck again, taking yet another friend of Emma's (Willa Fitzgerald). But we never in a million years thought it would be...

Spoiler alert! If you haven't watched tonight's jaw-dropping episode of Scream, turn back now. We're talking major spoilers, people!

RIP Will (Connor Weil). That's right, Emma's ex-boyfriend fully redeemed himself after many jerk moments only to get impaled with a giant saw, while Emma was forced to watch...and get sprayed with his blood and guts. Yikes. (We don't even want to think about how much her therapy bill is going to be after this.)

Though we were still in shock after watching that bloody, traumatic ending, we pulled ourselves together long enough to get Weil on the line to talk about his demise, and what this means for Emma and everyone else going forward.

E! News: I'm so sorry for your loss! I did not think you were going to be one of the first victims.
Connor Weil: [Laughs] Thanks! Yeah, it's been fun and sad at the same time.

When did you find out you were getting killed off?
I actually found out right before we started shooting episode 6, since it ends with that huge cliffhanger where Will is dragged off into the darkness of the abandoned car dealership. After I got that script, the showrunner called me and was like, ‘Hey! So…this isn't the end for Will.' And I was like, ‘Great!' And she goes, ‘But it's the beginning of the end.' And I was like, ‘Ahhhh got it.' So I knew it from then on and kept it a secret from everybody else in the cast. Everyone found out at the table read for the next episode and freaked out.

What was your immediate reaction when you found out Will's time was up?
It was sad of course. I was sad to leave these people who have become my family. But at the same time, when I was on set, I was so happy because this is the coolest death scene ever. I am so excited to see everyone freak out. I was happy with how they wrote my death. Because if you're going to go, I want it to be that crazy and that horrific, which it was!

I have to say, I'm still traumatized by that scene. You were home safe, recovering from Ghostface's attack...I thought you were in the clear!
That's what we wanted! We want you think he's OK, we want you to fall in love with Will and learn to care for him, and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he's ripped away from you. Because that just hits home that nobody's safe, at any moment. You can try and outsmart the writers and predict what's going to happen, but in the long run, it's just going to come out of nowhere.

What was it like on set when you shot your death scene?
The most fun part for me that day was after we shot my coverage of me in the chair all duct taped up, when I got to watch Willa, who plays Emma, get sprayed with my blood. It was so crazy to watch! It was such a cool shot.

Does this mean that this is it for you on the show?
You will see Will one more time. And it will continue on the same streak, don't worry. It's creepy.

So how will Will's death affect Emma?
His death is going to be a wake up call for everybody, certainly for fans and his friends. The killer is very smart and it's clear that no one is safe. It's going to shake things up for sure.

What about Jake? They weren't exactly friends at the time of Will's death.
Regardless of how he felt about Will at the time, whether their friendship was torn, he didn't like them at all, I think everybody is going to be affected. It was such a brutal death and Will did redeem himself in the end.

Now that you've been offed by the killer, what's your theory on who's behind the Ghostface mask?
Wouldn't it be cool if, the whole time, Emma is the killer but she doesn't know she's the killer? Like a Tyler Durdin Fight Club situation.

Oh, that would be awesome.
Right? She realizes she's the one killing everybody but she can't control it. There's this whole other side to herself. I think I would lose it if that came true!

Scream airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
