Well, we can't say we were eagerly awaiting a duet with Jason Derulo and country star Luke Bryan, but now that we've heard it, we've wondered why it's taken so long!

Bryan shared a video of the two of them belting out Derulo's hit song, "Want You to Want Me." The duo's performance was recorded through an app called Sing! Karaoke, which allows fans to sing with their favorite musicians in a virtual karaoke.

The Kill the Lights singer uploaded the link to the performance on Twitter saying, "How could I not, this was too much fun. @jasonderulo , you're a sanging fool. Oh yeahh."

Derulo serenades the camera as he belts out his tune, while Bryan, in a backwards cap, does an impressive job of hitting the high notes.

At one point Bryan belts, "Bring it," and as the song progresses and Derulo's voice reaches an insanely impressive high note, Luke grins at the camera saying, "Oh, that's filthy, I can't do that."

Derulo clearly approved of the performance tweeting to Bryan today saying, "congrats on the new album it's siccckk as usual! Keep killin it."

Watch the duo's dynamic performance. Is this a sign of a future duet?
