And while the world has delighted in their designs for celebs—like Jessica Simpson, Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Richie—we haven't had the chance to obsess over their most personal work yet: Their own bridal gowns.
So we convinced each lady to open up their wedding albums and share a never-before-seen photo from their big day.
Spoiler alert: All of the gowns you are about to see are nothing short of spectacular.
"I actually got married before we began designing bridal, so I took one of the gowns from our runway collection and had it custom made in an ivory color. It was one shouldered and had a hand embroidered bodice and a flowing chiffon empire skirt. It was perfect for a countryside wedding in North Wales." the Marchesa co-founder explained.
"I designed my own wedding dress. It was an embroidered and pleated tier tulle ball gown with a corseted bodice," shared the Marchesa co-founder.
"I chose a very traditional dress. It was a silk white duchess satin drop-waist gown, off the shoulders, with lace appliques and a bustled skirt. I also had a long cathedral veil to match. It was the third dress I tried on!" said Lhuillier.
"For my wedding day, I designed my own gown, which was made entirely out of my three favorite types of lace: Chantilly, Binche and Guipure. I particularly enjoyed being able to share this moment with the garment district—specifically the pattern makers and seamstresses who supported me when I was just starting out," the designer remembered, adding: "I met my husband at an internship in London. I was 17 and tried to get him to do my work for me. I was a bit bossy but he was still willing to do it for me. We've been together ever since."
Although today she is best known for her jaw-dropping ball gowns, back in 1968 Herrera chose to exchange vows in a knee-length dress with floral appliqués.
