Bella Hadid is here to bust some L.A. stereotypes.
OK, not really. But she certainly jokes about them.
"They say L.A. is the land of the brain-dead, but it's not," the 18-year-old says in a video for i-D magazine, posted on its website on Thursday. "It's the land of dreams and secrets, tans and green juices. And slow-mo."
Both she and Gigi Hadid, 20, are following in the footsteps of their mother, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, who is a former model. In the clip, Bella is seen posing seductively in the ocean in a sexy, pink and white striped, cleavage-baring swimsuit. She also shows part of her butt cheeks in a pair of high-cut denim shorts.
Gigi and Bella recently starred in a sibling-inspired ad for Balmain. Gigi has over the past year also landed campaigns for the likes of Guess, Tom Ford and Victoria's Secret. She appears on Guess billboards in L.A. and other cities.
On July 1, Bella tweeted, "When you're in an uber&the driver is staring so intensely at @GiGiHadid on a billboard on Sunset that he almost crashes #goals #noworries."
Bella revealed to i-D what she jokingly calls her sister.
"I call her 'Squeegee,'" she said.
