Although we thought singing telegrams died with the movie Clue, it turns out Demi Lovato and James Corden are bringing them back!
The incredible duo dressed the part Tuesday when they drove around Los Angeles delivering their tunes to a few deserving people. Their first stop was to salon Dry Bar where they congratulated Sarah on her recent promotion.
"I don't know why they just don't call this place Blow Jobs," mused Demi.
Upon finding out that Sarah's favorite type of music is country, Demi put on her best southern accent, which she happened to nail because she's from Texas! Although Sarah and the rest of the customers inside the salon were surprised by the casual celebrity walk-ins, no one could stop laughing once the duo sang their song.
"When it comes to blowin' people, Sarah has no fears," they sang.
After their quick jingle, Demi and The Late Late Show host took off to find their next recipient. "It really feels like we're bringing joy to people's days," James noted. On the way to their next client, Cory, Demi and James kept themselves occupied in the car by playing a game of "Cruise, Marry, Shag," an alternate version of "Kill, Shag, Marry." The difference, this time, was that instead of killing off a potential mate, you go on a cruise with them but don't have sex.
Given the choice of Rihanna, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj, the late-night talk show host relegated Nicki to the cruise.
"I just get the feeling [Nicki] has been with guys who got more to offer," he explained.
"I don't want to be a disappointment. You know...anacondas and all that," he said while referencing his you-know-what. "I'm more of a fruit rope."
After stopping by Cory's office, where Demi and James sang a tune about his love of mayonnaise to honor his birthday, Demi and James made it to their last stop: dentist Dr. Engel's office. On their way, the two learned that the dentist has been donating money to the YMCA and even promised to shave his head bald if he made it to $10,000. Only at $6,000, the dentist received a lovely donation of $4,000 from Demi and James, giving Demi the right to shave his head!
"You can take your finger out of her mouth," Demi told Dr. Engel, who was working on a patient when the duo arrived.
After completely buzzing his head—and we mean completely—Dr. Engel was in shock.
"That was...I don't think what anyone was thinking," the dentist said.
