Matthew McConaughey's brother is breaking into show biz.

The Oscar winner's sibling Rooster McConaughey appeared on Today this morning, stopping by to chat about his new show West Texas Investors Club, a Shark Tank-style series which sees Rooster and his business partner Butch Gilliam—both self-made millionaires—looking "to invest in the next big thing in their own unique way."

From sharing a beer with potential investors ("If you want to get to know a man and look into his soul, have a beer with him") to their unconventional business plan, Rooster is surely entertaining like his movie star brother—but he's definitely his own character.

"He said, 'Man, just be you,'" Rooster revealed when asked if Matthew gave him any device about being in the spotlight. "That's all he's ever said. 'Just be you.'"

As for what the actor thinks of his big brother's show?

"I don't know. He's in Thailand. The last time I saw him he was in Thailand in a pit with a bunch of cobras and I haven't heard from him since," Rooster said, adding with a laugh, "I'm getting a little worried about it."

While Rooster may be stepping into the reality-TV world, he is a fan of his sibling's work—particularly those Lincoln car commercials.

"Oh, god, dang right. He did all those himself," he replied with pride.

Brotherly love at it's finest!

West Texas Investors Club premieres at 10 p.m. ET on CNBC tonight.
