This supermodel isn't shy about much, and that includes her hair color. Point in case: The 22-year-old is currently rocking bold cotton candy pink locks. At first, it remained uncertain if Cara's new hair was a permanent color swap or just an exceptional wig (we were leaning towards the latter), but either way—that's quite a hair statement.
The Suicide Squad star showed her support to girlfriend St. Vincent (AKA Annie Clark) at the Osheaga Art and Music Festival in Montreal this weekend—pink hair and all—along with several key members of the upcoming flick's cast. And based on co-star Margot Robbie's almost-certain black wig (she's rocking it with a white bandana in Cara's Instagram), there was ample evidence to conclude that both ladies were rocking faux hair this weekend, instead of committing to more permanent hair colors.
Later on, pictures surface of Margot sporting the same pink tresses, which finally confirmed our suspicions—it was a wig!
If Cara had in fact dyed her tresses pink, then she wouldn't have been the first star to do so this summer. Jenny McCarthy went neon pink just a few weeks ago, and Kelly Ripa has dabbled into pink hair dye as well (although her hair is currently opal). And let's not forget about Hilary Duff's post-mermaid pink- ombré, which may have kicked off the whole pink hair for the summer trends.
Hmmm—the colorful wig is great for the music festival, but we're sure she'll be back to bronde in no time.
