Just keep swimming diving Kate Middleton!

The Duchess of Cambridge may be busy raising two adorable children. But Prince William's leading lady has made some time to get a little sporty.

Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte's mom recently passed a Professional Association of Diving Instructors Advanced Open Water Diver qualification. In far simpler terms, she can now scuba dive to a depth of 30 meters or 98 feet.

According to the Telegraph, who first reported the news, the new status has enabled Kate to join her husband on deep dives (where sharks may be present) during holidays in Mustique.

Kelly Fisher Katz recently met the Duke and Duchess when she was on vacation near the Caribbean. She thought the royal couple was "quite the sportsmen" after demonstrating their skills.

"We went diving and they went very deep," she told the publication. "Our instructor said [my husband] and I weren't qualified to go on the shark dives that they went on."

The spokesperson for the Duchess added, "Diving is something the Duchess very much enjoys, and the Duke of Cambridge, who is of course President of the British Sub-Aqua Club, has said in the past that he is hopeful his children will become interested in the sport."

So what skills did Kate prove while getting certified? As one could have guessed, you have to be a pretty good swimmer.

According to PADI's website, divers must complete a total of five dives including an underwater navigation dive where participants are taught how to cope with the physiological effects of deeper scuba diving. One must also be prepared to use a dive knife and a compass at any time.

"We are thrilled that The Duchess of Cambridge shares her husband's interest in the underwater world and has further progressed her diver training" the BSAC told the Telegraph. And with that, let's hit the water!
