Watch: Ashley Tisdale Gushes Over Married Life

Ashley Tisdale is glowing—both personally and professionally.

The 30-year-old actress and husband Christopher French will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary on September 9, and according to the Clipped star, she's loving married life.

"It's great, it's great," the former Disney star told E! News on Tuesday at Morel's French Steakhouse & Bistro at The Grove in Los Angeles. "It takes a long time to get to that, I think. There's definitely been past relationships where I've been like ‘this is so hard, is this how it's supposed to be?' And then you get to The One and you're like ‘Oh my god, if only I knew that this is what it's like.' So it's amazing."

Tisdale is also enjoying her time on television as she stars in the new TBS series Clipped, which first premiered on June 16. The series centers on a group of co-workers who all went to high school together, but ran in different cliques, only to find themselves all working at a barbershop years later.

Watch: How Ashley Tisdale Perfected Her Boston Accent

"I'm having a blast, it's so much fun," the newly "strawberry bronde" beauty gushed. "The cast—we're all best friends, so every Tuesday night we get together and have these viewing parties and we live tweet…it's so much fun."

As for how Tisdale is handling the Boston accent since the series is based in Charlestown?

"When we auditioned they asked for the accent…when we did the pilot we had an actually guy come in who taught us it," she said, noting that the accent is a little more important for her male co-workers.

"I actually did watch The Fighter when I was testing for it just to hear some of the stuff," she admitted, giving a shout-out to Mark Wahlberg before demonstrating her best Boston twang (press play to hear!).

The actress also shared that she and her co-stars often hang out outside of work and revealed she recently took an improv class.

"It was the scariest thing I've ever done," she admitted, adding, "It was an adrenaline rush, it was crazy...I'm totally doing more."

In spite of her busy schedule, Tisdale still managed to find time to launch her new lifestyle site TheHauteMess.com

"I've been developing this site for over a year and I'm so excited to finally share this with you," she wrote in a blog post on the site for its launch on Wednesday. "When thinking of what kind of blog I wanted to do, I decided to do something a little different from the rest. There are so many times in my life where I literally stop and say 'omg I'm such a hot mess right now' and I always feel like 'if only I had my s--t together … " But that's what life is about, learning how to make your own way and embracing 'the haute mess' in all of us."
