Bill O'Reilly stirring the pot?! That's new.

The Fox News host has yet again said some things that raised a few eyebrows, but this time, he's not talking about white privilege or ISIS or Stephen Colbert—he's addressing gender identity.

During yesterday's episode of The O'Reilly Factor, the veteran cable personality did a segment on "misgendering," discussing how people can identify as one of six genders. O'Reilly brought up the topic, he said, because of a "loon" who suggested that outlets be fined for not correctly identifying transgender people.

"This loon wants to fine us if we misgenderize," he said. (You're right, "misgenderize" isn't a word. But anyway...)

O'Reilly openly expressed confusion over the issue, and that's when Caitlyn Jenner was brought up as an example.

Guest Bernard McGuirk explained, "Well, if you call Caitlyn Jenner ‘he,' then you'd get a $50,000 fine."

O'Reilly interrupted and bluntly stated, "Pardon me for this, but from the waist down, he is a ‘he,' according to ‘she.'" O'Reilly went on to say that he was just trying to be "accurate," and McGuirk responded, "That could change, I guess. I cringe at the idea."

Jenner revealed at the time of her Vanity Fair cover release that genital surgery is not a priority right now. "If you have a list of 10 reasons to transition, sex would be number 10," Jenner told the mag, adding that she has no immediate plans to have the procedure done.

This isn't the first (or second) time O'Reilly has attempted to tackle the topic of transgender people.

Back in June 2014, the host even went as far as to invite the supportive parents of a transgender child onto the show, only to tell them that they're doing it wrong.

O'Reilly stated that he'd be unwilling to acknowledge the requests of a transgender child to be identified in a way that corresponds with his or her preferred gender identity. In previous segments, he's also criticized parents who support their transgender children as being "dopey" and potentially engaging in child abuse.
