Take a long look at Grumpy Cat up there, because her reign of cranky terror may soon be coming to an end. And that will probably make her even crankier, so will she become…Super Grumpy Cat? Will we create a monster by claiming Grumpy Puppy can snatch the title away from her?!

Let's find out!

Caters

Internet, meet Earl, a second generation 5-month-old Puggle (pug-beagle mix) that is definitely sick and tired of your human bulls--t, judging by the expression on his adorable face. He looks like you just told him that he has to go to the dentist, and then the DMV and then has to talk to teenagers about their opinions on One Direction. That would give anyone the urge to put on a death glare, but at least on Earl it's a cute death glare.

Derek Bloomefield, Earl's proud owner, promises that despite Earl's sullen face, his dog is actually really friendly with both other dogs and humans.

"He has had the grumpy expression from day one," Bloomefield tells Yahoo U.K. "The vet said he's as healthy as any other puppy. He just looks grumpy because of his underbite, wrinkles, and dark complexion. He is the most relaxed, content puppy either one of us has ever seen."

On the inside he may be relaxed and content, but on the outside he always looks like someone just crapped in his corn flakes. But anyone with a resting bitch face will understand that.

You can now follow Earl's adventures (and by "adventures," we mean photos of him side-eying you hard), on both Facebook and Instagram.
