You may think you've earned some serious scoop on Bella Hadid and The Weeknd's relationship.

But when it comes to this young Hollywood romance, both parties are trying to keep things super low-key and private.

In a new profile piece for the New York Times, fans get a deeper look inside The Weeknd's (real name Abel Tesfaye) place in the music world. But with great success in the industry also comes great scrutiny with your private life. Enter the personal questions!

When the publication asked about Hadid, the singer refused to talk about the supermodel. But when questioned if he was in love, the "Love Me Harder" crooner had a unique answer.

"I don't know, to be honest with you," he shared. "I don't think so. Maybe. It's no, it's yes, it's maybe."

What the 25-year-old will admit is that reality has featured a lot more ups than downs in recent years. It's a perspective he hopes to share on his new album.

"It's about me being who I am and stepping out of my comfort zone to try to feel something else besides what I've been feeling the past four years," he shared. "Ups and downs. In my past albums, there were never ups."

Just last week, a source confirmed to E! News that The Weeknd and Hadid have been enjoying their summer together. And while we haven't seen any PDA pictures of the couple, it appears these two have a mutual understanding of keeping their romance out of the public eye.

Those closest to Hadid say the supermodel loves to support her man and his music. In fact, all of her family and friends are big fans of the Canadian record producer.

"They have many things in common and really enjoyed each other's company," a source revealed to E! News after the twosome attended Coachella together. "She loves his music as well. They are hanging out for sure now."
