Throughout the history of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, game nights hardly ever end well. Will a newlywed game on The Real Housewives of Orange County end differently for Shannon Beador and her husband David?

To say things have been tense between RHOC star Shannon and husband David is a little bit of an understatement. The fan-favorite reality star has been frank about her marriage problems with David, the two took cameras to their marriage counseling retreat and have been open about David's past affair. But just because they have acknowledged the affair and are working towards bettering their relationship doesn't mean there aren't bumps.

Things were going OK…until this question: "Is your husband more romantic, less romantic or about the same as he was one week after you got married?"

Shannon said more romantic (remember the Valentine's Day dinner they had? She gushed all about it), but David, well, he said less.

"Where are you today compared to where yo were when we first met?" a visibly annoyed Shannon asked him. "I made an ass out of myself because I say, ‘David keeps saying he's more romantic. He never thought we would be where we were today.'"

Meanwhile, Tamra Judge and husband Eddie were spot on pretty much the whole game—guess that talk about Tamra taking a step back from Cut Fitness really did work. Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks were pretty in synch too.

Do they recover from the game night awkwardness? Tune in to find out.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays, 9 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
