Feast your eyes (and ears!) on the new Empire season 2 teaser.

The quick spot features all your favorite Lyons—and a lot of your absolute favorite Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon—and teases new music, new money, new power, and most important: new episodes of Empire.

Here's what we've gleaned from the teaser: Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) now has a mode of transportation (where do we get one of those?), Andre (Trai Byers) is all about the business still, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) is performing at a #FreeLucious concert, Lucious (Terrence Howard) remains behind bars, Cookie is in a cage with a microphone, and Anika (Grace Gealey) is still firmly implanted in the family business.

Season two will feature guest appearances by Kelly Rowland as Lucious' mom in a flashback, Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Magic Mike's Adam Rodriguez as Cookie's new love interest. Oh and did we mention Marisa Tomei will recur. The Oscar winner will play Mimi Whiteman, a venture capitalist who loves hip hop, fashion, social trends and women. Everybody with us now: Yassssss.

The new season will be 18 episodes, up from the 12 that made up season one.  Now if you'll need us we'll be here, dancing in our desk chairs to the season one soundtrack. Go up down, up down, up down…shake your thang.

Empire season two kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on Fox. See what Henson had to say about her Emmy nomination below!
