Blake Lively isn't the only actress to embarrass herself in front of Barack Obama!

When Charlize Theron appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday, host Jimmy Kimmel reminded the 39-year-old Dark Places actress that "the last time you were here [in mid-March], President Obama was here," too.

"Oh, God," the Academy Award winner said before the comedian pressed her for more details. "There was a funny thing that happened. We were kind of like, 'Where is President Obama?' And he was chatting with you," he said. "We were like, 'Oh, OK. Yeah, that makes sense.' What did you talk about?"

"Oh, my God! This is terrible, Jimmy!" Charlize said. "This is terrible."

Jimmy laughed and asked, "What do you mean 'it's terrible?'"

"I have this thing that happens when I get nervous where I get so nervous that I will say something really inappropriate. It's like Tourette's in a weird way. I don't know how to stop it. It's like verbal diarrhea. I was really nervous because I was kind of hiding in the back and then somebody from his team came to get me and ushered me over to him. He waited to meet with me. Everything had stopped around his world to meet me. It was just a lot of pressure and I was really nervous. He was so complimentary about you and how grateful he was to be on the show...He felt like he was reaching a [new] demographic...He didn't say it like this, so please don't quote me, because I am not quoting the president, but something like that."

The conversation seemed to go well...at first, anyway. Then, Charlize recalled, "There was this pause and I didn't know what to say and all I could come up with was, 'Well, if you're looking for a different demographic I can take you to a strip club.'"

The audience howled with laughter.

"It's terrible!" Charlize admitted. "Terrible! Terrible!"

Jimmy was surprised Barack turned her down. "He didn't go?" the host asked. If Jimmy were in the president's position, he joked, "I would have gone right into Air Force One and said, 'Drop us off at the nearest strip club immediately!'"

"Michelle Obama is going to kill me," Charlize said.

Luckily, Barack didn't exacerbate Charlize's embarrassment. "He was so gracious and funny and he could tell that I was really nervous. He was nothing but lovely," she said. "Then I couldn't sleep for four weeks because every time I closed my eyes I went, 'Oh, my God! I said that! Oh, my God! Why did I say that?'"
