How is Kim Richards' life post-rehab?

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who has long been struggling with alcohol abuse, has been continuing her road to sobriety and was spotted enjoying some time out with friends.

E! News learns that Richards went to dinner at Madeo in Beverly Hills with a group of friends last night. According to a restaurant source, she did not drink and had water with her meal, and adds that she was joined by Wynn Katz, a regular at Madeo and someone Kim has known for years.

As for how she's doing, a second source tells us, "Kim is upbeat, but uncertain about her future," and adds, "Since leaving rehab, she's been staying with Kathy and Rick [Hilton]. But she needs to find her own place to live soon."

And her departure as a full-time cast member of the Bravo series is making things a little tough.

"Financially, she's stressed," the insider explains. "Without her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills salary, she's going to have to figure something out. There have been small roles here and there, but she needs money."

E! News learned of Richards' exit shortly after finding out that she'd begun another stint in rehab. According to sources connected to the show, it's possible Kim may return for a cameo, or a few appearances, but not as a full-time series regular.

Bravo had no comment on Kim Richards' status or the rest of the season six cast.

However, E! News exclusively found out at the same time that Kim's bestie Brandi Glanville will also not be returning. A source told us that it was Bravo's decision not to have Glanville return, citing the bad blood between Glanville and various other cast members, but Brandi disputed that theory on Twitter.

As for the growing tension between Kim and sister Kyle Richards, the source unfortunately tells us that they're still not speaking to each other. "There's been lot of damage done and its going to take time."

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
