Is This the First Look at Lady Gaga in American Horror Story: Hotel?

FX has begun its annual release of promos for the next season of AHS

Battle stations—all hands on deck! American Horror Story: Hotel promos have started. This is not a drill! But is this Lady Gaga?

The social media accounts for American Horror Story shared the below promo, titled "Front Desk," and naturally we have more questions than answers. Namely, is this Lady Gaga's silver-gloved hand?

The Facebook account's caption: "The Lady is ready to check in to AHS:Hotel this October on FX."

And Twitter's: "She's ready to ring in a whole new horror this October. @ladygaga #AmericanHorrorStory"

Some of the cast of AHS: Hotel appeared alongside co-creator Ryan Murphy at Comic-Con 2015 and dropped some details about what's to come. "Characters from previous seasons will come back and check into the hotel." Murphy told the audience about connection between seasons. He also noted everything will make sense by the end of the series.

We didn't learn Lady Gaga's character's name, but we do know Matt Bomer is Donovan, Evan Peters is Mr. March, Sarah Paulson is Hypodermic Sally and Kathy Bates is Iris. The cast of American Horror Story: Hotel also includes Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny. As for Gaga's character, she told Murphy she wanted to play somebody evil and her character will be involved with fashion (as seen above if that silver hand is hers). But sorry, there won't be any musical numbers.
