Has The Good Wife found her new man? Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined the CBS drama as a new investigator hired by Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) in season seven. Since the departure of her campaign manager Johnny (Steven Pasquale), death of Will (Josh Charles) and Finn's (Matthew Goode) decision not to partner with her, Alicia's hurting in the man department. So, will that void be filled by Morgan?

"We'll see. I don't know. I've been told a little bit of my character's background. I know that there's a lot of speculation that there might be some possible romance thing happening," Morgan tells E! News' Marc Malkin at San Diego Comic-Con while promoting Extant, his CBS drama, on which he stars on alongside Halle Berry. "And I know Julianna and I'll be happy to jump into that arena with her. So we'll see what happens."

But Alicia better watch out because Morgan says his current leading lady, Halle Berry, will not be happy if he ends up hooking up with The Good Wife.

"Halle's going to get pissed though!" he says with a laugh. "She's going to get mad!...It's not a bad issue. I feel like it's an OK issue in my life!"

Morgan's not the only new face joining The Good Wife in season seven. After the departures of Goode and Archie Panjabi, The Good Wife will welcome Cush Jumbo in a mystery role and Margo Martindale as Willa Eastman. Martindale's character will help Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) with his presidential bid. This pulls her character into the orbit of Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), so you can expect sparks.

The Good Wife returns Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
