Kristin Cavallari debuted a new look on Instagram yesterday, sporting a trendy ‘70s-inspired ensemble with some added forehead fringe. Now, don't be fooled—the bangs are not a permanent hairstyle fixture, but instead a clever attachment to the pregnant starlet's Secret Bangs headband.
"Wanted to change up my look today with bangs! They are attached to a headband to make it super easy," the starlet captioned her snapshot.
Truthfully, bangs are a tricky hairstyle to wear well. And while Kristin tried her best to work the childhood staple haircut into a sophisticated adult style, her Instagram followers felt otherwise.
"She looks like Zelda from that video game… I can't get over this," one user observed.
"What a great gift for people you dislike," another Instagram user chimed in, followed by another user's quip: "Sorry they look awful!" But really, this user summed it up best with: "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
It's all right, Kristin—we can't all have Zooey Deschanel's forehead.
