Miranda Lambert had to pull the plug on one of her concerts because she has been struggling with "serious inflammation" of her vocal cords.

The country star will reschedule her Calgary concert, according to a statement on the venue's Facebook page, but the later date has yet to be determined. "I'm so sorry that I can't be at Stampede this week, but I'll be back in Calgary just as soon as I can for all of my Stampede fans," Blake Shelton's wife said in the statement.

Chief Operating Officer of Calgary Stampede Paul Rosenberg added, "We understand that this news is disappointing for fans. We will know more about rescheduling the concert later.

"In the meantime, we hope that fans use their tickets for admission to Stampede and enjoy all that we have to offer—including live country music at Nashville North," he added.

Fans have been instructed to keep their tickets, as the July 10 show will take place at another date and time. Once she finishes her Platinum Tour, Lambert will be launching her all-female Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour, which begins in the fall.

Lambert isn't the only singer to have to cancel concert dates due to vocal cord issues. Sam Smith had to cancel several tour dates and even undergo surgery to help rectify his malady. Adele had to do the same, and recently Meghan Trainor joined the ranks of those brought down by vocal issues.

"I don't want anyone worrying but I have had a hemorrhage on my vocal chords. Right now the doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed so I have to postpone my first two shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut [sic]," she said on her Instagram page.

"I promise that I will make it up to my Megatronz," Trainor added. "I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we've been working on. I am truly sorry to everyone who has bought tickets and made travel plans. I hate this."
