TwitterKarolina Kurkova is eating for two!
The 31-year-old Czech supermodel announced that she is pregnant via Twitter Wednesday. Sharing a picture of her 5-year-old son kissing her baby bump, she wrote, "My second bundle of joy is on its way and Tobin can't wait! #Happiness #Love #KKBaby2." She has been married to Archie Drury since 2009. News of her second pregnancy was reported four days ago, but she didn't confirm it right away.
Months after her son was born in October 2009, Kurkova opened up about motherhood to NBC's Access Hollywood. "I feel very different. After having a baby things just change," she said. "Something inside of you switches and you become this powerful big mama who can deal with anything and do everything. I never sit down. I'm always running around. I'm sure other mothers feel the same way!"
"I take care of the house, I cook, I work and I walk the runway," she added.
Speaking to The Fashion Spot in 2013, Kurkova—who was a mentor on Oxygen's competition series The Face at the time—said her son wasn't quite sure what she does for a living. "On TV, he sees—'That's mommy!' But then everyone that's blonde he thinks, 'That's mommy!'" she shared. "Now he's starting to recognize the difference, but before there was like a billboard, and he was like, 'Who's that? Ooh, that's mommy!' Everything was 'mommy.' Everyone who was blonde."
Similar to her first pregnancy, Kurkova shows no signs of slowing down. The former Victoria's Secret Angel currently stars in Giuseppe Zanotti's fall ad campaign.
