Gina Rodriguez is proving once again why she's one of our absolute faves.

The Jane the Virgin star is not only the face of Kipling's Summer 2015 campaign, but she's also using its "Make Happy" initiative to pay it forward.

As part of her gig, the Golden Globe winner surprised students at a California college with some awesome gifts.

And only we have exclusive video from the amazing day.

Rodriguez rewarded one student with a weekend trip to San Diego. Another co-ed's mom was flown in for a surprise visit with her daughter.

"We have really awesome students that are making happy all over their community, on campus, with their family and their friends and we get to meet them today and hopefully make them happy," Rodriguez beams.

One student was given American Express gift cards. "That's insane," he said with a big smile. "I want to in the next year create a feature film so this is definitely going to put me in the right direction."

Too sweet!

As we E! News exclusively reported, Rodriguez signed on with Kipling in April. She was no stranger to the Kipling brand. "Kipling came into my life when I was a kid," she said. "We couldn't afford it at the time, so I saved my allowance."

She was in junior high school when her mom helped by giving her half the amount to buy her first Kipling bag, a forest green book bag. "I kept it forever," Rodriquez said, adding, "When they came to me, it was like full circle. I mean, this is my childhood. This is the brand that I wanted to own when I was kid."
