Brody Jenner doesn't seem too surprised by Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's recent breakup. In fact, when he appeared on NBC's Today Tuesday to promote his upcoming E! series, Sex With Brody, Kourtney's step-brother insisted to co-host Hoda Kotb that Kourtney and Scott are both doing "great" post-split.
"Obviously, Scott has gone through some issues in the past," Brody said of the father of three. "He's worked through them."
Apparently not all of them. Though Scott checked into treatment in March, in recent months, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been spotted "partying hard" with pals. Over July 4 weekend, Scott was photographed in Monte Carlo getting close with Chloe Bartoli, an L.A.-based stylist. "Honestly, when I saw those pictures, I went, 'Uh-oh. This isn't good,'" Brody admitted. "It's unfortunate."
As E! News exclusively reported Monday, Kourtney "dumped" Scott "after she saw the pics" of her boyfriend of nine years with Chloe in Monte Carlo. Making matters worse, Scott "hasn't been home after a month-long party binge," per an insider, and he "has been running around saying he's single."
"Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old," said a source. "Kourtney has to do what's best for the kids."
The E! reality stars—parents to Mason Disick, 5, Penelope Disick, 2, and Reign Disick, 6 months—have broken up several times over the years. However, sources tell E! News that Scott's latest bad decisions were "the final straw" for Kourtney, who "wants to move forward"—even if that means doing it alone. "Scott does not seem to care about what he's doing," a source said. "He's clearly unraveling."
Kourtney is "fed up," according to another insider.
"It's humiliating and disrespectful. How much more is she supposed to take?"
Neither Kourtney nor Scott have publicly commented on the split.
Sex With Brody premieres Friday at 10:30 p.m., only on E!
