The Real Housewives of Orange County is about to get very real. In the preview for tonight's episode, OG Housewife Vicki Gunvalson is at Shannon Beador's house for game night when she receives some devastating news: her mother has suddenly passed away.

In the preview above, Vicki crumbles to the floor while talking to her daughter, Briana. Has The Real Housewives ever been this real before?

Shortly after she received the news, Vicki took to her Facebook in February to share a tribute to her mother. "Last night I received one of the worse phone calls of my life. My mother died suddenly and unexpectantly [sic] in her home last night," she wrote. "I will never be the same without my mother's love, wisdom and strength. I love you mommy!"

Season 10 also features Vicki dealing with boyfriend Brooks Ayers' cancer battle. In an interview with TVInsider, Vicki said this year featured "real-life" stuff. "These are the things I would have gone through whether or not the cameras were there, and they're not exaggerated. My biggest fear about watching it is reliving my mother's death," she said.

Tamra Judge also praised this season for its realness. "I think it's a really good season this year. We have a birth, my granddaughter, we have a death, we have everything in between," Tamra told E! News. "It's really real life stuff going on. It's not like, 'You didn't invite me to a party! You took my chair!' It's not that stuff..."

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
