In 2013, the White House was blown up by North Korean operatives.

Now, it's London we're worrying about.

In London Has Fallen, a spinoff of Olympus Has Fallen, Gerard Butler reprises his role as a former presidential bodyguard.

This time he's jumped the pond, where he learns about a plot to assassinate all the world leaders attending the Prime Minister's funeral.

The first trailer just released for the action packed thriller shows Westminster Abbey and Chelsea Bridge being blown up. Members of the Queen's Guard are shown in battle in the streets as police cars flip over and people scramble for cover.

Butler leans out the door of a speeding car to shoot at an unseen target. He runs through an underground tunnel with the president, once again played by Aaron Eckhart.

Morgan Freeman is back as the Speaker of the House and watches the chaos from the White House Situation Room.

Also returning are Melissa Leo as the Secretary of Defense and Radha Mitchell as Butler's love interest.

London Has Fallen is in theaters Jan. 22, 2016.
