Jessica Simpson's babies are growing up right before our eyes!
The fashion mogul's daughter Maxwell turned 3 in May, and yesterday, Jess and hubby Eric Johnson's son Ace celebrated his 2nd birthday. Naturally, the birthday boy's proud mama Instagrammed some pictures of her little man's special day, and it looks like the whole family had a blast!
In one super cute snap, Ace was all smiles as he stuck a pose at the bottom of an inflatable slide. "2yrs OLD?!" wrote Jess. "Can we live here forever? I love you Ace Knute Johnson. Happy Birthday!"
Another family pic showed Jess and Ace drinking from fire hydrant thermoses (cute!) and papa Eric looking cool in a pair of shades as he held his son.
During all the birthday festivities, Ace didn't necessarily always take after his father, a former NFL player. For a moment, actually, his floppy, tousled hair resembled the famed tresses of a certain One Direction boy-bander...
Mom noticed, captioning the shot, "Ace Knute channeling his inner Harry Styles on the way home from dinner tonight #HappyBirthday #2." (BTW, Harry should be quite flattered by that comparison!)
Ace isn't the only character in the family. His big sis Maxwell is quite the entertainer, too—when she's not channeling Tom Cruise in Top Gun or stealing her mama's makeup, she's all about striking silly poses in her swimsuit and hamming it up for the cameras!
