The Jane the Virgin star and wife Emily have welcomed a baby girl, their first child together, his rep confirmed Tuesday to E! News.
Daughter Maiya Grace Baldoni arrived on June 27, weighing in at 7 pounds, 15 pounds.
"Emily and I are crazy in love and so grateful for the beautiful home birth of our little angel Maiya Grace," Baldoni said in a statement. "It feels like God physically touched us when she entered this world. Life just got so much sweeter."
Moreover, we're told that Mommy and Baby are doing great!
Coincidentally, Baldoni's character Rafael just became a dad on the season finale of Jane the Virgin, which returns to the CW this fall—with the title character now a new mom!
In anticipation of becoming a first-time dad, the actor tweeted on June 21, "Just hanging with my kid on Father's Day," along with a sweet pic of himself chillin' with his head resting on Emily's baby bump.
