Relax, guys, Iggy Azalea isn't trying to throw shade at Britney Spears.

Rumors began swirling that the Aussie rapper was dissing the pop princess when giving her two cents on why their track "Pretty Girls" flopped via Twitter. "its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured...," Azalea tweeted when responding to a fan about the song's underwhelming response.

"i would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015," she added.

And that suddenly became Iggy Azalea throwing shade at Britney. Well, you know she had to shut that down real quick, and Iggy did in a way that is just so her style.

The newly engaged star tweeted, "my comment is factual, it applies to any song. I dont have to suck the womans asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do i? bye girls." LOL! So good.

She continued, "Genuine friends have genuine opinions. Its possible & healthy to have a differing thought without it being bitchy or shade...Im suspect on anyone who agrees with me ALL of the time; because i know i dont get it right 100% of the time."

The duo performed "Pretty Girls" together at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards shortly after debuting the fun, '80s-inspired music video.

Spears previously told USA Today that it was important to her that she and Iggy play "characters," because she didn't want to feel like she was playing Britney Spears. She provided a quick synopsis of her video, saying, "I do a makeover for her and we go to a club."

But she elaborated, adding, "The best part about it was just us coming together with the clothes and doing the '80s haircuts. We were all about being characters, so it was kind of funny for us. We weren't taking ourselves so seriously."

See, it's all good here, people.
